Homestay 21 in Johore offered a mixed experience for our family stay. It boasts a prime location right next to KSL City Mall, which was a major draw for us, as we could easily access shopping and the vibrant Monday night market. The kids loved the convenience of being so close to local food trucks, where they indulged in delicious grilled sambal fish and fresh mango juice. The room itself felt quite cramped. With a queen bed and an old bathroom, it was adequate for a night, but not ideal for larger families. Unfortunately, we encountered a smoking issue from neighboring guests that made our stay less comfortable; the ventilation was poor, and we wished for stricter enforcement of the no-smoking policy. On a brighter note, the staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate us after a last-minute room change. If you're seeking family-friendly activities, the Angry Birds Activity Park and Night Safari are nearby, offering fun for the whole family.
